  • Overview

    Adi Kailash the Home of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. Adi Kailash is one of the Panch Kailash according to Hindu Mythology. OM Parvat and Adi Kailash are considered very sacred place in Hinduism. Just a darshan of it can make your inner self enlightened and cleansed. It is believed that the cosmic energy that is prevalent here can transform a person. It is the land of tranquillity and serenity. The demon king Ravana meditated here and was blessed by Almighty Shiva with the strength of 20 arms and brains of 10 head. According to the legends, there are only eight mountains in India, which has an impression of OM symbol. Out of these eight, only one has been discovered, which is known as Om Parvat or Adi Kailash. This magical mountain, Adi Kailash, is standing tall at an elevation of 6191 m in the Dharchula (Pithoragarh district). It is quite known for its strong religious and adventure connect, also, it is believed that the mountain has a miraculous nature. One thing, which makes this mountain look apart from other Himalayan ranges is its OM shape, which is formed by the deposition of snow on the black mountain.

    Day 1 : Pithoragarh

    Dharchula 940m

    Accommodation: Guesthouse on avalability basis

    Today arrival at Dharchula. On reaching Dharchula we get Paperwork for Inner line Permit done. We need inner line permit for today as we almost touch International border of Nepal today. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel.



    Day 2 : Pithoragarh

    Dharchula –Nabi Village (85 KMs/ 6 Hrs) 3048m

    Accommodation: Based on avalability basis

    Today morning after having breakfast we move to Nabi the area that we are visiting is simply beautiful village. En-route We will also visit natural beautiful villages like Chialekh, Garbyang, Gunji and Napalchu on the way to Nabi. This village is base camp of Adi Kailasha, you can feel the real experience of Himalayan culture and divine gravity. Overnight stay at Home Stay (Common Washroom) in Nabi Village.

    Malpa: one of the biggest tragedies of Himalayas held in malpa in 1999. Do not forget to ask the guide or driver about this unforgettable saga of pain.

    Budhi: The place where altitude open itself to get you the rush of adventure and divinity of a pilgrimage.

    Chialekh: the paradise of chialekh will give you the chance to play with it as the inner line permit needs to be checked here by the Army.

    Garbyang: Do not forget to buy sea buckthorn vinegar from this village.

    Gunji: move your eyes a little bit to see the snaking diversion towards Om parvat and the old Kailash Mansarovar route.

     



    Day 3 : Pithoragarh

    Om Parvat Visit (22 kms drive approx.) 4500m.

    Accommodation: Based on availability basis

    Early morning visit to Om Parvat. Approx 2 Hrs by vehicle to reach Om Parvat. Where you can see a “Miracle of Nature '' ! Where Snow lies on the mountain in the shape of Om. After darshan of Om parvat, relax there with yourself, try to do meditation and feel the real blessing of Shiva. Later visit Kalapani (Subject to permission) then back to our Finding Shiva community, evening Finding Shiva walk to Manakamana Temple and cultural program (depend on availability of artists). overnight stay at Nabi Village.

    OM PARVAT Eight such "OM" symbols are mentioned in skanda purana and out of which only one is available to have darshan. Here mother nature had to justify itself by creating the divine symbol of "OM" visible to us ego derived beings on a huge mountain. I promise you will get spellbound with a very first gaze of this miracle. Just sit down and listen to the intense vibration of the sound "OM".

    Mahakali temple (Kalapani): "Kali"- the dark feminine energy could be felt here. The temple complex is so beautiful that it will be hard for you to leave the place. Don’t forget to have darshan of kali river's source and Vyas gufa.



    Day 4 : Pithoragarh

    Nabi Village– Adi Kailash (38 Kms Approx 3 Hrs approx.) 4572m.

    Today We will leave early in the morning to visit the oldest abode of lord Shiva - Adi Kailash. The road to Almighty's home could never be an easy ride. It challenges the pilgrims on every possible level till we shed every fragment of EGO to the deep valleys and flowing river. Above all you could experience the divine dance of Vyas valley with every 100 meter we gain. Moreover, It is a kind of beauty that couldn't be explained by the highest of the poets. Do not forget to stick your eyes to the pandav fort at Kuti village. Post reaching Jyolingkong we will visit Parvati Sarovar, 2km trek (Depend on your fitness) or a pony can be hired. Explore the inner consciousness, Energy of Lord Shiva, close your eyes and feel the vibration by bowing down to the Adi Kailash Mountain towering at 6310 meters above sea level. The journey could be extended to Gauri Kund right at the base of mount Adi Kailash but only if health allows as it stood near to 5000 meters and enough to get AMS. Post lunch we will take permission from lord shiva to leave. Evening will be spending time with RUNG community which helps in understanding the lifestyle of Himalayan villages. Overnight stay at Nabi village.



    Day 5 : Pithoragarh

    Finding Shiva community village Nabi- Dharchula (85KMs / 6 Hrs approx.)

    Accommodation: Based on availability basis

    After morning breakfast, we will return to Dharchula. Evening free for visit Nepal and shopping, Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel in Dharchula.



    Day 6 : Pithoragarh

    Dharchula to Onwards Journey

    Accommodation: Based on avalability basis

    Post Breakfast check out from Dharchula hotel with bagful of memories and emptied EGO sack.

    Q: What will be the expected temperature and weather in Adi Kailash and Om Parvat?

    A : Day temperature will hover around 08 to 18 degree Celsius, while night temperature can go down to -05 and at some places more.

     

    Q : Is Kailash Mansarovar and Adi Kailash same or different destination?

    A: Adi Kailash and Kailash Mansarovar is different destination but both are Panch Kailash. Adi Kailash is in Indian Himalayas and Kailash Mansarovar is in Tibet. Both are holy mountains.

     

    Q: Roads remains open in winter?

    A: due to the heavy snow fall inner line permit process is closed by administration in winter.

     

    Q:  What is Om Parvat actually?

    A: It’s a natural shape of Om on snow-capped mountain. According to Hindu scripts, it’s a sign of high energy and creation.

     

    Q:  Is it off-road drive or smooth one)

    A: From Kathgodam to Dharchula, it’s well-connected road but from Dharchula to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat totally off-road. We used 4/4 transport for particular stretch.

     

    Q: What is AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness)?

    A: AMS is result of sudden exposure to reduced air pressure and lower oxygen level at high altitude. General symptoms are Headache, Fatigue, Nausea, and Loss of appetite, sleeplessness, heavy breathing. Descending down and inhaling oxygen can cure it faster. That is why we recommend to spend at least two days in Leh, so that you get some time to acclimatize.

     

    Q: What are the precautions for photography gears?

    A: You don’t need to worry much about the professional gears much; they are built to sustain such extreme weathers. For basic gears, just keep that battery at warm places.


    Q: I had no time to prepare, can I buy warm clothes in Dharchula/Pithoragarh?

    A: No, we  suggest  you  buy  it  at  home  location  and  try  it  out  couple  of times.


    Q: Is there some trekking involved in this?

    A: Not too much but while visit Gauri Kund and Parvati Sarovar then we have to do 6km trek .

    Q: I have medical history related to breathing, blood pressure or anything significant, Can I travel at such height and low temperature?

    A: Please  consult  your  doctor  for  the  same.


    Q: What about the phone connectivity.

    A:  Airtel/BSNL/JIO works till Dharchula, only wi fi available At Finding Shiva community Village Nabi.

     

    Q: is there required Inner line permit and medical fitness certificate for Adi Kailash yatra?

    A: Yes. You have to make medical fitness certificate from any MBBS doctor. we will assist you for Inner line permit.

    Cancellation Policy:

    You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail is required.

    The cancellation charges applicable are as per the published policy below:
    Cancellation before 30 days: A processing fee of 25% of the total package cost or Rs. [Amount], whichever is higher, will be charged. No refund shall be made with respect to the initial booking amount.
    Cancellation between 15 to 30 days before the start date: 75% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
    Cancellation between 0 to 15 days before the start date: 100% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

    In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled. The operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.

    • 2. Medical fitness certificate required from any MBBS doctor
    • 3. Copy of Identity proof like Aadhaar Card, Indian Passport, or Voter ID
    • 4. Two additional colored passport-size photographs.

    Payment Policy:

    • 1. Advance 50% amount for reservation
    • 2. Balance 50% amount to be paid 7 days before the departure date
    • 3. Payment should be made in favor of “Travel Spree”.

    Terms & Conditions:
